The Senate passed the bill extending the up to $8,000.00 tax credit for home buyers though the end of June 2010 on contracts signed by the end of April 2010. In addition, the bill adds Buyers that have lived in their current home for over five years. $8K for first timers, $6.5K for others. The bill, which still has to be passed by the House of Representatives is anticipated to pass before the end of the week.
